Bålforsberget

The pine forest in Bålforsberget is old and almost untouched. The forest is almost 200 years old. Traces of old fires can be seen here and there, in the form of black tree stumps and trees bearing fire damage.

Just outside the boundaries of the reserve in the north-east, a cabin represents the starting point of a marked path which passes over the hill and around Djupavatjärnen lake.
