This small but tasty tour of art and culture starts at Capellagården in Vickleby. Several design courses are held here, including carpentry, ceramics and painting. Capellagården was founded by Carl Malmsten, one of our most famous furniture designers. He wanted to "create a new humanity and a better world" and this was one of the ways. Today, Capellagården hosts both exhibitions and training courses. There is also a nursery. In Vickleby there are both coffee and good food for those who are in the mood. The tour goes through the picturesque Ölandsbyn via Vickleby bygata, past Vickleby church and then out into the farming landscape before turning back towards Capellagården. We also pass Liz's interior and Britta's studio. This is a meeting point for artists on Öland.
