Degerliden

Thick aspens can be found in the 200 year-old spruce forest. The spruces are draped in witch’s hair. Blueberry bushes, wood sorrel, one-flowered wintergreen, creeping lady's-tresses and alpine sow-thistle grow on the ground.

The pines are found higher up the slope on the bare, rocky ground. Traces of fires can be seen here and there, both as burnt stumps and as charcoal in the ground.
