Banvallsleden

This trail runs from coast to coast, all the way from Kattegatt to the
Baltic Sea, between Halmstad and Karlshamn. Banvallsleden is approximately 250
kilometres and several distances of the trail runs on an old embankment, on
both gravel and asphalt. The trail takes you along two old railroads: Halmstad
– Bolmen (Bolmenbanan) and Karlshamn – Vislanda (Vislandabanan). You will also
pass up to 40 old railway stations, which makes Banvallsleden one of a kind in
Sweden. It is certainly a trip through Swedish railroad history.
