Asa

In the Asa area, you can hike, cycle or paddle through nature that feels like the rolling hills of Norrland. Heights and blue coniferous forests are followed by quiet lakes. The Sigfridsleden trail, the Höglandsleden trail and the Värendsleden canoe trail all reach the area. At Asa Manor on the western side of the lake, a bright landscape with grazing animals and large oaks awaits. Walk the Höglandsleden trail towards Lugnån's damp leafy curtains and past Asa church and marvel at the beautiful views. The stretch is short, but rich in life. Red-winged blackbirds and lesser spotted woodpeckers are found in the area, as well as the plants missne and besksöta.
