Skogsuddeslingan, Ottenby

Welcome to the wild greenery! On the 1.5 kilometre long Skogsuddeslingan you will enter one of the most beautiful parts of Ottenby lund.

By following the green markings, you will experience some of the most beautiful places in Ottenby's nature reserve during a relatively short hike. Old oak trees grow along the trail. In spring, the birdsong in the grove is almost magical.

From the forest you then approach the Schäferi meadows. They tower behind the greenery. They are fantastic to watch - not least from the bird tower along the hiking trail. Climbing up the bird tower gives you a wonderful view of the meadows and the sea beyond. The bird tower is also a great place for a picnic - whatever the season.

For the plant enthusiast, there are plenty of plants to view along the trail. Hops, crow's-feet and bride's-bread are just some of the species to be seen on the grasslands south of the South Grove car park.
