It’s hard to imagine a better place for fishing than Arjeplog’s mountainous archipelago. From the wheeled, accessible fishing from Vaukaleden’s footbridges in the middle of Arjeplog, to the lakes you can only reach by helicopter or on foot. However and whatever you want to fish, you will enjoy Arjeplog.

Within the municipality of Arjeplog there are six fly fishing beats totalling 105 km, i.e. over 100 km that are reserved only for fly fishermen. Here you can catch the fish of your dreams and experience an incomparably magnificent nature.

Cast spinners for the stately grayling of the Lais River, fish for trout alone in the larger streams around Vuoggatjålme and wrestle with super-heavyweight char from a trolling boat on the deep lakeTjeggelvas.

There is something for everyone and plenty of both space and fish so that there is enough for everyone, but of course we prefer that you release the catch you do not intend to eat.
