Djupsjöbrännan

Bearded spruces and tall pines can be found in Djupsjöbrännan. These are the types of forests in which ancient forest birds thrive.

You may come into close contact with a Siberian jay or see a three-toed woodpecker fly past. Rings pecked around the trunks of spruce trees are a sign of the three-toed woodpecker. On dead trees, you can find the pink Fomitopsis rosea and many other species that need dead trees lying on the ground.
